GGrass Meeting random people on the golf course

Golf courses are excellent place to meet random people. Last week, I met a sporty Korean lady who was in Thailand for golf. A chick golfer. Not very pretty, but damn pretty swing. And she teed off with the boys. Impressive... The first hole, she doubled. And I thought, "OK, I'll give her a lesson or two..." But only after two more holes, the situation was clear. I was gonna get my ass wooped the rest of the day... -____- , Never under-estimate chick golfers. They might look pretty, but th… Continue

Julie Leavitt Basketball Coaching Tips

I've just started coaching the U17 girls basketball team at my school. Well, actually, we are having try-outs next week and will start practicing twice a week. I have a list of drills I want to run, but I'm afraid I want to do too much all at once. Anyone have any advice re: coaching tips, how to start a new team, a sample one hour practice including warm-up, stretching, drills, and scrimmage? I've been teaching for awhile, but this is my first go at coaching so any help is much, much appreciate… Continue

GGrass What are the things you hate to see in a golf course?

What are the things you hate to see in a golf course? Like, people throwing cigarette butts on the grass. I don't even like it when they throw it in the water. If you smoke while playing golf, you gotta always throw the butt in the trash can. Or in the plastic bag that's always hanging by your golf bag, the caddies ALWAYS do that. And if you can't even do that, put it in your pocket for Christ sake, don't throw it on the field. And like, people handing over money on the green or tee box. I m… Continue
