Siam Surf Dogs is reporting surf everyday for the last week in Kao Lak, (North of Phuket). Plenty more on its way also. SUP scene just starting to build there as people discover longer un-crowded rides. Feedback on the New Starboard 7'11" is very good - Apparently it rides more like a short board. Will be heading down to join Surfdog in early May. Cant wait to try out my new 6'6" and the 7'4" - see how they compare with the 7'11". Better start extra training on flat water for now.

At the PKRA event in Hau Hin people were using SUP for first time and riding waves within a few hours. Lots of People surfing until dark, had to line up to try the Starboards, the Drive and the Pocket rocket most popular. The POD 7'4" x 32" was my favourite, but cant say I have it nailed :) Best Sessions were glassy early mornings. Many places to SUP surf even in the Gulf of Thailand.

I'd take 2-4 foot of anything right now. Need to get my little fish up here and into the water. Got an Indo trip later in the year and going to be so unfit for paddling any kind of waves, let alone Sumatran reef's..

2-4 foot. Nice rides in Rayong the week before also, smaller but really glassy. Will make a video later in the week. Nice cruising in Sam Roi Yot also.
