Wind dropped a little but still planing conditions - more windsurfers leaving the beach - had 11 out yesterday not bad for a Tuesday afternoon low season.

It is windy several WIndsurfers out already. This is the time of year for storm gear. Wind picking up - is squally and no place for Kites.

Am and I will be at the club Blue Lagoon from about 11.00am today. Songkran in Pattaya so no staff. But shop is open and you can still surf if the wind comes up.

New Starboard Carve 121 unpacked and tested - Love this board - everything a light wind funboard should be. This one is sold now, but more arriving soon.

3 months of Good wind in Pattaya.
Rain started like clockwork on Songkran. Today is Sunny again, looks like a perfect day for teaching beginners.
School is going very well now, we were about to close after rain on Friday, but a little breeze stirred up and we ended up with 6 more students.
In Hau Hin, the people I meet all talk as though windsurfing is dead. That is a real shame, I think it is the business model of the windsurfing school that is dead in Hau Hin. In Pattaya, we are teaching new people nearly every day, and many times there are more WIndsurfers out than Kiters, though in general there are more kiteboarders overall.

The Pattaya scene is friendly and both sports co-exist on the same stretch of beach.
On the weekend, you can see Yachts, Kayaks, SUP's, Kites and a lot of windsurfers out. It is a great scene, and takes very little from the environment.
